Oh! I loved Sam, I hated the fact that he died. I'm trying to find as much Ginger Snaps fanfiction as I can now, but there isn't that much. I heard that there's a possiblity of a 4th movie or a tv show. I'd love to see what happens to Brigitte after Unleashed.
I have one of those girl crushes on Emily Perkins. She's so cool.

Yeah, the 'majorly **FINE**' is Nathaniel Arcand. I really liked Brigitte in Ginger Snaps, but Ginger was really funny.
I just saw Ginger Snaps: Unleashed. Katherine Isabelle was only in it for a few fleeting moments as a ghost/memory. But the movie was pretty good. Now I'm all set to see Ginger Snaps Back.

Okay, I remember that someone mentioned this movie on the old boards, so I thought since no one had on these, that I would.
I recently got a chance to see the Canadian flick "Ginger Snaps". A movie about two sisters, Ginger and Brigitte Fitzgerald. Ginger, age 16, and Brigitte, age 15, are two goth girls who are obsessed with death and live in a developing Suburbia (Bailey Downs) and are considered weird by everyone. Ginger and Brigitte have blocked out the rest of the world and are extremely close. They've even made a pact to die together.
The girl's father, Henry, doesn't really add too much to the movie. It's the girl's mother, Pam, who is one of the most interesting characters. She is WAY too happy, and is frustrated by the fact that neiter of the girls has started their periods.
Well, one night the girls go out, without their parents knowledge, and find a dog that has been attacked by the Beast of Bailey Downs. Suddenly, Ginger starts her period (or as the girls call it, 'the curse'.... so true) and right then she is attacked by the Beast.
Brigitte helps Ginger escape the Beast, and in the process it's hit by a van and killed. When Brigitte gets Ginger home, they realize that Ginger's wounds have already healed. Over the next few days, Ginger's wounds start growing hair and she starts to act in ways she never did before.
With help from the local hot drug dealer, Sam, Brigitte tries to find a way to help Ginger before the next full moon.
If you want to see a movie about werewolves that's actually good and not stupid (with the exception of Underworld), then I highly recommend that you rent Ginger Snaps.
